‘Fall in Love’ with Parkville
Cliche: Most Defiantly – Honest: Absolutely
As summer taps out and makes a dramatic exit (cue the crunchy leaf confetti), Parkville slips into something a bit cozier. The trees go full show-off with blazing colors, the riverfront trails practically beg for a photo op, and flannel becomes less of a fashion choice and more of a survival strategy.
Not to be outdone, the town’s fall weekends dial up the charm with cider, crafts, and enough pumpkins to start a patch of your own. Main Street shops flex their autumn style with mums and seasonal displays, and the local restaurants switch to their fall menus like they’re dropping the hottest album of the year. Apple butter? Obviously. Maple everything? Don’t mind if we do. A suspicious number of things labeled “harvest blend?” Fine, only if it’s coffee.
Warning: May Cause Sudden Need to Book a Room
Back at the Inn, we lean into the season like it’s a warm hug. One with excellent taste in throw pillows. Fireside chats? Check. Blankets that double as socially acceptable naps? Also check. The scent of spiced baked goods floating from the kitchen like an invitation to surrender your willpower? 100% yes. We’ve got a rotating roster of homemade muffins, a serious relationship with cinnamon and yes, pumpkin spice is back too, no matter how much we pretend we’re over it. Spoiler: we’re not.
Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year! It’s my favorite flavor of the year as well… besides chocolate – but we work that into pumpkin, so it’s a win-win. We deck the halls… well… mostly the porch. Pumpkins, mums, and enough autumn flair to make your favorite fall Pinterest board look underdressed and frankly underachieving. Because around here, fall isn’t just a season – it’s an entire personality with a favorite mug, matching socks, and a flair for the dramatic.
And if all that isn’t enough to win you over, there’s always the promise of an extra slice of pie at breakfast. Consider it our version of a loyalty program. No points. Just pastry.
Insider Tip:
Fall is our busiest season at the Inn – [Book Early] or prepare to be tragically cozy-less.
