When it comes to donations and charitable contributions, Jason and I support and donate and give on a personal level.

As you might imagine, the Main Street Inn receives a large number of requests on a monthly basis for donations/contributions. As a small Inn with a limited number of rooms we’ve found we simply cannot keep up with the request. As a best business practice, we’ve adopted the following contribution policy and options regarding donations/contributions from the Main Street Inn.

Donation Options:

Option 1. Donated Certificate: $75
This is basically a credit towards their stay. The recipient can choose any of our rooms on any night Monday – Thursday and the additional costs would be at their expense. Here is the ‘fine print’ for the straight donated certificate. This certificate expires 6 months from the date issued and is printed on the certificate.

 

Gift Certificate Fine Print:

  • Your stay is determined based on availability.
  • Night options are as follows: Any Weekday Night Available (Monday – Thursday)
  • Excludes Holidays
  • Gift Certificate is redeemed at check-in – please bring it with you.
  • Any Room Balance, State & Local Taxes and upgrade charges or packages are the responsibility of the guest and are paid at the time the reservation is made.
  • Standard MSI & Cancellation Policies apply
Option 2. Matching Certificate (Purchased/Donated)

This is where you or your organization would purchase a 1 night stay and we would match it with a 2nd night. You can match the price of any of the rooms. Here is the ‘fine print’ for the matched certificates. (they have a some weekend night restrictions – see below) This certificate expires 6 months from the date issued and is printed on the certificate.

Gift Certificate Fine Print:

  • Both nights are redeemed consecutively by the same guest.
  • Night options are as follows: (Thursday & Friday Nights) (Saturday & Sunday Nights) (Any combination of two consecutive nights Sunday – Thursday)
  • Excludes Holidays
  • Gift Certificate is redeemed at check-in – please bring it with you.
  • State and Local Taxes and any upgrade charges/packages are the responsibility of the guest.
  • Standard MSI & Cancellation Policies apply
Option 3. Straight Gift Certificate Purchase

This is something you can easily do online. We sell lots of gift certificates for Christmas gifts, birthday or anniversary gifts. With this, there are no restrictions on nights and they have a 1 year expiration date. We do recommend a straight dollar amount (like $150) and the guest can upgrade or extend their stay at their own expense.

4-6 Week lead time is required for all donation requests.
Please fill out the request form below and email it to kathy@mainstreetinnparkville.com
Requests must have the tax form submitted at the same time.
Please include a list of the Board of Directors if applicable.
